Dedman College Career Liaison
Employed by Dedman College and housed in the Hegi Career Center since February 1996, Judy maintains a heavy counseling schedule helping Dedman majors discover their first career niche. In an effort to connect current Dedman majors with Dedman alumni, Judy organizes career panel discussions featuring Dedman alumni working in a variety of fields as marketing/ethnographic research, consulting, FBI, State Department, nonprofit, law, publishing, fashion/design, event planning/PR, etc. She encourages students to broaden their options by leveraging their liberal arts skills and intrinsic talent to find meaningful careers in corporate, nonprofit, government and academia. Judy has a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Higher Education from Texas A&M Commerce.
