Caryn Statman
Career Counselor
Caryn Statman, M.Ed., LPC-Intern works as a generalist Career Counselor, seeing students from all majors and class levels. In addition to counseling, Caryn plans career-related workshops, presentations and events for students and coordinates the marketing efforts of the HFCDC.
Prior to joining SMU, Caryn worked in the public relations industry for six years in both the corporate and non-profit setting. During that time, she received her Master’s in Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
