Field Business Planning Analyst/Financial Analyst- Acts
as a consultant to AA's airport operations by
identifying areas of potential revenue, cost, and
productivity improvements. Field Business Planning
analysts interact with airport general managers
regarding profitability and business planning issues,
including preparing annual operating budgets and
monitoring monthly spending performance. Financial
analysts provide support to senior management for
decision making on major customer service initiatives.
In addition, Analysts lead the following efforts:
* Evaluate the financial implications of
strategic projects such as capital expenditures and
process/technology changes
* Builds and determines staffing and
non-salary resource requirements for a changing
schedule
* Analyzes ad hoc requests related to
staffing, facility, and equipment and forecasts future
expenses
* Develops and coordinates various other
financial analyses and presentations as needed
Account Sales Representative- The person in this
position will be responsible for approximately 110
medium/large-size agencies representing approximately 35
million dollars in AMR revenue. Other responsibilities
include account performance and incremental revenue
generation with emphasis on Premium Class, corporate and
international revenue. This person will sell the
American Airlines product line and strategically manage
revenue generation within a designated sales territory.
Additionally they will plan and implement sales
campaigns to specifically assigned accounts to maximize
revenue and move market share; conduct regularly
scheduled telephone sales calls; represent AMR at
various functions and trade shows; and maintain account
profiles to facilitate an efficient sales effort.
