Control Shop

Four technicians respond to HVAC work orders as their first priority. Controls renovations are completed on a secondary basis (Departments wishing renovations at a higher priority can have the Control Shop arrange for an outside contractor, usually at 1.5 - 2.5 times the internal cost). The campus is at the finish of an HVAC controls upgrade. TAC was selected to replace the Staefa system and add controls to buildings that had various stand-alone brands. At the completion of the upgrade every building supplied by the Central Plant will have direct digital controls (DDC) and end users will have functioning thermostats (common public areas will remain sensors only).
