Controller's Office
John O'Connor, Associate Vice President and Controller, oversees financial management and is responsible for financial control and fiscal integrity.
Departments reporting to the University Controller include financial accounting; accounts payable; asset management; financial systems support; general accounting; grant and contract accounting; payroll; tax compliance; and real estate management and leasing.

John O'Connor
Associate Vice President and Controller
John O'Connor is Associate Vice President and Controller, a position he has held since 2000. As Associate Vice President and Controller, he oversees Financial Accounting, Operating Fund cash management, Grants and Contracts Accounting, Financial Systems Support, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Payroll, Tax, and Real Estate Operations.
Mr. O'Connor has a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Augustana College and an M.B.A. from what is now Texas A&M Commerce. He has been affiliated with the University since 1978.
