Ernie Barry |

| Provides leadership and coordination of the integrated budget management processes of the University and its divisions. | |||
| After working as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernie joined SMU in 2000 as the Project Manager responsible for maintaining the PeopleSoft Financial systems for the University. He moved into his current role as the University Budget Director in 2004. | |||

Brenda Guyton |

Provides financial planning for campus capital resource decisions and develops methodologies to address institutional priorities. |

|
Having previously worked at Duke University, Brenda joined SMU in 1989 as financial officer for business services. She then became director of administrative systems serving as project lead for the financial reengineering and the PeopleSoft financial implementation efforts. She moved into her current position in 2002. |

Kathleen Hodges |

Coordinates implementation, maintains documentation, and provides reporting and on-going support for the PeopleSoft budgeting module and its users. |

|
Kathleen joined SMU in 1993 as a software developer in the HR and Business Services area. She worked in Procurement, the Cox School of Business, Development and the Dedman School of Law before joining the Budget Office. She was also a module lead on the PeopleSoft financial implementation team. She moved into her current position in June 2004. |

Mary Tays |

Serves as primary resource on matters pertaining to position control and provides support to the University financial officers with budget issues. |

|
Mary Tays first joined SMU in 2000 in the Controller’s department where she gained overall knowledge of the numerous financial areas within the University. She has extensive previous work experience in financial environments, including seven years in the budgets and financial planning field. She moved into her current position in August 2003. |

Linda Sutton |

Plans and coordinates AVP's daily activities, works on special projects and provides ad hoc reporting for the Budget Office staff. |

|
Linda Sutton first joined SMU in 2004 in the Controller’s department where she gained overall knowledge of the numerous financial areas within the University. She has extensive experience in office management, purchasing and as a project and event coordinator for several corporations. Linda holds and MBA from SMU. She moved into her current position in June 2007. |
