Folio. 1498 pages ([18] leaves, 34 pages, 714 leaves), 16⅞ x 11¼ inches, the largest known copy. Black letter, double column, 59 lines. The general title page has a copperplate engraving by Cornelius Boel († after 1616) featuring the Divine Name and biblical characters. No other illustrations, but many initials of two sizes: 9-line high at the opening of the book, with 5-line high woodcut initial letter opening each following chapter. Bound in London binding, two frames impressed in blind; metal catchplates of the upper cover survive; stamped in several places with the royal crown; restored spine; leaves have escaped severe damage from the binder’s knife, some with original deckle.
