Folio. Vol. 3. [268] leaves, 13¾ × 9¼ inches. Printed on paper; eight gothic typefaces present, double column, 70 lines. Initial spaces with printed guides. Contemporary pigskin over wood boards, intersecting triple fillets, blind-stamped with large rosettes and “Maria” on covers; 10 original brass bosses and plates, brass clasps stamped “Maria,” decorated brass catchplates; original iron chain of 11 inches, with 10 links and two rings, attached at top of lower cover; fragments of vellum manuscripts affixed to inner portion of boards; title and shelf mark in later hand on spine with four panels, raised bands with double thongs.
