The 2000 Helen Warren DeGolyer Triennial Exhibition and Award for American Bookbinding: Designs for 'Ulysses' by American Bookbinders

Bridwell Library's second triennial bookbinding competition, conducted in Spring, 2000, challenged its participants to design interpretative bindings of what many consider to be the literary achievement of the century, James Joyce's Ulysses, first printed in Paris in 1922. The competition, which had twenty-three entrants, was won by Bruce Levy of Nevada City, California.
