Scholarly Writing Style - February 15 and 16, 12:30 pm

What WorldCat Can Do for You—Now and After Graduation - March 01, 12:30 pm
WorldCat is a catalog of catalogs from North America and Western Europe.  If you need to learn if an item exists, where it exists, and how you can get it, this session is for you. We will cover OCLC WorldCat, available to all SMU students; WorldCat.org, available to everyone (therefore useful to those who are graduating); WorldCat’s interface with SMU’s Interlibrary Loan system; and ArchiveGrid—a new database for finding archival materials. Don’t let the dowdy name fool you, this is one powerful research tool.

Credo Mechanics - March 07 and 08, 12:30 pm
Presented for those students enrolled in ST 6302 (Systematics), this session will address mechanical issues (grammar, syntax, footnotes, etc.) related to the writing of the Credo.  Jane and Christine will discuss any aspect of the writing process that does NOT involve content. The format will be part presentation and  part Q&A, so come with questions and concerns.
