The Parents and Family Web site is updated at the beginning of each month with the latest SMU news feature at the top of the front page. An SMU graduate of 1970, Deanie Kepler can answer just about any question you have about SMU or Dallas. And if she doesn’t know, she’ll find out. Deanie has been known to deliver chicken soup to sick students or drive them to the airport in a pinch. She works closely with Mothers’ and Dads’ clubs to assist their primary goal of ensuring students’ success.

Siscoe, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Student Life

Dee Siscoe describes herself as a student advocate. She supervises all aspects of Student Life, from judicial affairs to the Career Center, but makes time to meet one-on-one with students and parents. She works with student leaders, listens to concerns, and answers parents’ questions, ranging from Greek orientation to substance abuse issues.

Contreras, Director of Parent Giving

With a primary goal of building supportive relationships between SMU and its parent community, Christi Contreras works closely with the Parent Leadership Council to play an integral role in fundraising for students' benefit. She oversees the University's parent giving initiatives and is happy to answer questions about SMU and its giving programs.
