The SMU Anthropology Club is a student organization for those
interested in the diverse fields devoted to understanding culture and humanity. While many of the
club's members are undergraduate majors and graduate students pursuing Master's and Doctoral
degrees, our membership is not limited to those pursuing anthropology as a major or a career.
Rather, the club exists to provide students with the opportunity to explore anthropology more
fully, and to interact with students who have similar interests.
A chartered organization within the university system, the club
is administrated by a president and vice-president, and treasurer. This year the club membership
also elected an events coordinator. For a roster of the current officers along with contact
information visit the Officers page.
The Club hosts annual events, as well as organizing regional trips to points of interest and
social activities. Membership is open to all SMU students. If you are interested in joining the
club please contact one of the officers or visit the Student Organizations area of your SMU
ACCESS personal portfolio page.
We would love to welcome you into our organization!
