How to upload your photos to the SMU Flickr group

1. If you don’t have a free Flickr account or Yahoo account, sign up for one at http://www.flickr.com/signup.

2. Once you’ve created and logged into your Flickr account go to http://www.flickr.com/groups/smualumni. Click the “Join this group" link in the lower right-hand corner.

3. You will be asked to confirm that you want to join the group. Click the “Join this Group” button.

4. Now click the down arrow next to the menu item “You” at the top of the page. When the drop down menu appears, click the “Upload Photos” link.

5. Click the “Browse” button to locate the picture you want to upload on your hard drive.

6. When the file name appears in the field beside the “Browse” button click the “Upload” button.

7. The photo may take a few moments to upload. Once it is finished you have the opportunity to change the picture’s “Title”, “Description” and “Tags”. Click the save button.

8. Now your photo should appear on the “Your Photos” page. Click the photo you just uploaded.

9. Directly above your picture is a button labeled “Send to Group”. Click this button and then click on the “SMU Alumni” group.

Congratulations! Your photo is now uploaded to the SMU Alumni Flickr group.
