Meet the Staff

CLAUDIA HENDRIX
Assistant Director for National Outreach
Claudia joined the Alumni Relations team in early 2007. She is a certified travel agent with over 15 years in the field of meeting planning and management. Claudia focuses on planning and coordinating national/regional events, as well as events associated with the Cultural Institute in Taos, New Mexico. While at SMU, Claudia has worked with the Parent Fund and Parent Leadership Council (PLC) and currently serves on the SMU iTunesU Steering Committee to make both podcasting and vodcasting a reality for the University.

MINDY ROWLAND
Assistant Director, Alumni Relations
Mindy joined SMU in 1995 and the Alumni Relations team in 1999. She graduated from SMU in 1998 with a degree in Art History. Mindy has lived in Dallas for 17 years after previously living in Oklahoma and Houston. SMU is a part of Mindy’s family – her sister-in-law is an alumna, her husband attended SMU for one year, and her daughter graduated in May 2007.
