moved when she was young to Westport, Connecticut and later to
Charlotte, North Carolina. After her high school graduation in
2000, Sarah returned to New Orleans to pursue a Bachelors Degree in
Music from Loyola University New Orleans. During her time

Office of Admissions. Sarah moved to Dallas in the summer of 2006
and is so excited to now be a part of the SMU admission team.
College Tips
- Do your
homework. Use online materials, course catalogues, and written
literature to begin your college search. Talk to your high
school guidance counselor about your college goals and academic
interests. Contact the admission office at the universities
you are considering to ask questions and to go over their
application process. Remember, the more knowledge that
you acquire, the more college options you will have.
-
Tour, tour, tour.
It is never too early to begin visiting college campuses. The
more schools you see, the quicker you will figure out what type
of university environment is the best fit for you.
-
Most importantly,
have fun. The college search process can be very exciting if
you are organized, prepared, and have an open mind.
