Carol Morris is from Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor's degree in communications. Carol joined the SMU admission staff in July 1990 after 10 years with the admission staff at Tulane.

Carol works with students from Florida, Southern Georgia, and Alabama. She is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and commutes to Dallas about six times a year to read and work with your admission files on-site.

Favorite memory: "Every time I go back to Dallas, I fall in love with the campus all over again! I love the view from the front of campus on Mockingbird, looking all the way up the quad through the trees to Dallas Hall."

College Search Tip:  If you plan to have an interview at several colleges as part of the admission process, schedule your first one somewhere other than your "dream" or "reach" school. Try to save that one for your last when you've had a little practice and you're feeling more confident of your interview skills.
