Advice:
Pursue what you truly enjoy. We want to know who YOU are, not who
you think WE want you to be.
Be a kid. You’ll have plenty of time to be an adult, so enjoy your
high school experience.
Challenge yourself to think long term. This is helpful as you
choose your curriculum in high school.
Take ownership of the college search. Your parents are there to
guide and advise, but you should be driving the process.
Make the college choice that is best for you. The best college fit
for your friend, may not be the best fit for you, so have the
courage to chart your own course.
Say thank you. Your parents, teachers, counselor, coaches, and
others have all helped you along the way, so shower them with your
appreciation.
