SMU's library system houses more than 3 million volumes and includes the largest private law library in the Southwest, along with numerous special collections. Bridwell Theology Library galleries regularly feature exhibitions of rare materials from that collection and collections throughout the world. Central University Libraries includes Fondren Library Center, DeGolyer Special Collections, Hamon Arts Library, The Norwick Center for Media and Instructional Technology (NCMIT), the Institute for the Study of Earth and Man Reading Room, the Library at Fort Burgwin, and SMU-in-Legacy.

You'll also have access to PONI, a fully interactive Web-based system that features user-friendly access to library materials in all SMU libraries, online resources, reserve materials, and links to other databases, digitized collections, and relevant Web sites.

SMU libraries provide inviting study facilities, wireless computing from personal laptops, as well as information resources from around the globe via the Internet.
