Statistical and Research Support Services

Academic Computing provides statistical consulting support to the SMU community, including (but not limited to) –

·          Professors working on grant proposals with a research design component;

·          Staff with special studies requiring data analysis or gathering; and

·          Graduate students needing guidance for the statistical analysis portion of their dissertation.

We can help with advising on modeling directions, analyzing data, creating presentation quality graphical displays, and assistance in documenting the results. We are also available to provide a pre-editorial referee of the analysis portion of journal articles.
