Classroom Technology Support
CTS Assistant Job Opportunities

Academic Computing Services developed the Classroom Technology Support department into the "One-stop" resource for faculty and students in Dedman College and Meadows School of Arts enabling them to request assistance for any and all technology in the classroom (projectors, DVD/VCR players, audio, computers, etc.) at one location. All CTS Assistants will be assisting faculty, staff and students with the setup and use of classroom technology equipment. Also, supporting faculty and students with the use of various software and hardware issues. CTS Assistants may be required to deliver computers and other a/v equipment.
Prospective applicants must be proficient in Windows XP, Mac OS 10.x, and MS Office Suites. Applicant must be experienced in configuring desktops for network connections and connection troubleshooting. Knowledge of computer components and efficient skills in troubleshooting computer hardware and software problems is a must. Lifting up to 40 lbs maybe required. Knowledge of classroom installed a/v equipment and control modules is a plus. Work-study students are preferred, but all students interested in computers and who enjoy working with people are encouraged to apply for any open positions.
