Tyler is a junior majoring in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, and Risk Management, with a minor in Mathematics. He is a President's Scholar and is in the University Honors Program. Tyler has been involved with the Tower Center for three years, is currently the Executive Director of the Tower Center Student Forum, and is a Tower Center Undergraduate Fellow. Tyler wants to pursue economics at the graduate level after his undergraduate career, with the hope of becoming involved in public policy.

Brandon Bub
Henry S. Miller Fellowship Award (2012-2014)

Brandon is the Juanita and Henry S. Miller Tower Center Fellow for 2012-2014. Moreover, he serves as news and features editor for the Tower Center Student Forum. He is especially interested in studying the American Constitution and United States Supreme Court, and he is working under the tutelage of Professor Joe Kobylka to learn about the nature of "swing justices" on the Supreme Court. In addition to his commitments at the Tower Center, he has also served as opinion editor at SMU's Daily Campus, is actively involved in the University Honors Program, and currently serves as an intern in Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson's office.

Julien Teel
Vaughn Intern (2013)

Julien Teel is a junior majoring in Political Science and International Studies, while minoring in Chinese and Asian Studies. Being the Director of Asian Studies for the Tower Center Student Forum, his main interests encompass the triangular relationship between the U.S., Japan, and China, security studies in the Asia-Pacific, and conflict resolution regarding territorial disputes. Julien is the President of the Chinese Club, Treasurer of the Model United Nations Team, and a Vaughn Intern. Currently, Julien is in the process of applying for Naval Officer Candidate School with the intention of entering as an Intelligence Officer. He eventually hopes to become a Foreign Area Officer in the Navy, formulating American foreign policy in Asia.

Rahfin Faruk, a sophomore, is the layout editor for the Tower Center Student Forum. A President's Scholar, he is also the editor-in-chief of the university's newspaper, The Daily Campus. He also serves as an editor for Kairos and Human Writes. A Hamilton Scholar, his interests include development, microfinance, and migration.
