Friends of SMU-in-Taos Scholarship

A limited number of tuition assistance scholarships are available to full-time SMU undergraduate students attending SMU-in-Taos during the summer terms in Taos.

Assistance is limited, and is awarded at the discretion of the SMU in Taos Tuition Award Committee. The award applies only to tuition; students receiving tuition assistance awards are responsible for fees, room/board, and transportation expenses.

Those receiving staff/dependent benefits through SMU are not eligible for tuition assistance.

The application deadline is FRIDAY, MARCH 2. Program application materials must accompany assistance applications.
Awards are determined by the Clements Award Committee in the week following the application due date. Award notifications will be e-mailed by Friday, March 16.
