Summer Student Staff Recruitment

2014 Summer Conference Positions- May 19-Aug 8

Conference Assistant Lead (3 positions)- $8.50 per hour: 7:00AM-4:00PM (40 hours/week)- Monday-Friday, some evenings and weekends required

  • Assist Conference Interns with occupancy management and conference operations
  • Manage Check-In and Check-Out events
  • On-Call for Night Auditor assistance/rotating available by phone on campus
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent customer service and works independently but also effectively in a team setting

Night Auditor (3 positions)- $8.00 per hour: 8:00PM-8AM- Monday- Sunday

  • Manage key audits and key preparation for incoming and outgoing conference guests
  • Organize all roster and billing documentation
  • Attention to detail, dependable, excellent customer service and ability to work independently

Conference Assistant (multiple positions)- $7.50 per hour: 7:00AM-1:00PM, 12:00PM-6PM, 6PM-Midnight- Monday-Sunday

  • Provide customer service for all conference guests
  • Maintain a welcoming and helpful environment at the area desk
  • On-Call for Conference Emergency response after hours/rotating available by phone on campus
  • Exemplary customer service skills, excellent team work attitude and ability to follow set procedures/direction

Facilities Assistant (3 positions)- $7.50 per hour: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM (35 hours/week) some evenings and weekends required

  • Quality control for all room readiness and verifying occupancy and availability for rooms
  • Liaison between facility/custodial services and the conference housing team
  • On-Call for Maintenance response/rotating available by phone on campus
  • Efficient, organized, ability to work independently, strong electronic and oral communication skills
