Mustangs Who Care

Mustangs Who Care

We are looking for a core group of committed students to take Mustangs Who Care to the next level - contact Health Education if you want to be involved!

Mustangs Who Care is a student-led program that encourages students to be responsible in social settings.  It gives students the skills to intervene when someone is misusing drugs or alcohol or needs medical attention.  Students should first be TIPS trained (email healthed@smu.edu to sign up for TIPS).  After TIPS certification, students will have the opportunity to participate in an additional peer education/bystander intervention training.

This program recognizes that SMU students are capable of acting responsibly and are able to look out for their fellow students.  It has the potential to save lives.
