Response to Intervention (RtI) Webinars

RME, in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), is hosting five webinars in spring of 2015 designed to help teachers and administrators develop a deeper understanding of Response to Intervention (RtI). These webinars will highlight the content in newly-developed RtI guidance app set to launch in summer 2015. The RtI app will be disseminated via a mobile application for iOS and Android.

National experts in applying the principles of RtI in reading, writing, mathematics and behavior and a well-respected administrator who has successfully implemented RtI on her campus will lead the one-hour webinars hosted on SMU campus. Topics will range from managing evidence-based instruction within a tiered model of support to establishing an assessment and data management plan.

Join us for the following webinars:

  • RtI & Administration - April 14
  • RtI & Reading - April 28
  • RtI & Mathematics - May 5
  • RtI & Behavior - May 12
  • RtI & Writing - May 19

Reaching Out in North Texas

RME serves as a hub of professional outreach in North Texas, partnering with educators, mathematicians and experts impacting classrooms and educators at every level. RME held its first Research-to-Practice conference in February 2012. The goal of the annual conference is to share the latest innovations and most current thinking in mathematics education today.

The RME Conference would not be possible without the generous support of The Meadows Foundation.
