Elementary School Students in Texas: Algebra Ready (ESTAR)

The goal of ESTAR, the latest initiative within the Texas Algebra Ready (TXAR) framework, is to support elementary students in the state of Texas to achieve a high level of preparedness in mathematics. ESTAR is designed to improve overall mathematics instruction and achievement in order to reduce the percentage of students who need math intervention in the elementary grades. Read more...


Middle School Students in Texas: Algebra Ready (MSTAR)

The MSTAR initiative is in collaboration with Education Service Center Region XIII and the Texas Education Agency and is comprised of three lead components structured and integrated to support students and teachers in grades five through eight to achieve mathematics success. Read more...

Promoting Algebra Readiness: Developing a Strategic Intervention on Rational Number Concepts (Project PAR)

Project PAR is designed to develop a 100-lesson algebra readiness intervention focusing on conceptual understanding and procedural fluency with rational numbers for sixth grade students with or at risk for learning disabilities in mathematics.
