Mediators Beyond Borders International is a non-profit, humanitarian organization established by Ken Cloke, Lynn Cole, Joan Goldsmith, Erica Fox and other visionary mediators in 2006, to build a more peace “able” world.

MBB’s primary strategies for promoting peace and justice are:

capacity building projects that build local mediation and organizational skills and
advocacy projects that promote mediation worldwide.

MBB also offers direct services, training and coaching in third-party facilitated conflict resolution processes designed to reach agreement, resolve conflicts, solve problems, build trust and heal relationships.

Please visit http://mediatorsbeyondborders.org for more information.

The SMU Chapter of MBB welcomes all Dispute Resolution students with a passion for peace to join its community.

Annual membership dues are $20, collected at General Meetings. These dues support MBB meetings and events throughout the year.

The SMU Chapter of MBB organizes a variety of volunteer opportunities for SMU MBB members, most notably a consulting partnership with Youth Conflict Resolution Center, Inc. (YCRC) in which SMU MBB members assisted YCRC with fundraising, recruitment of volunteers, public relations, and process mapping and organizing of workshops and activities into a well-documented curriculum.

There are no volunteer opportunities currently available.  Please check back at a later time.
