Cameron Rogers Honored By National Football Foundation & College Hall Of Fame

 

SMU linebacker Cameron Rogers was one of nine college scholar-athletes The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) recognized at the NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas' fifth-annual banquet on March 21 at the Marriott Quorum in Addison, Texas.

Rogers, who earned his undergraduate degree in sports management prior to his senior season, played in eight games for the Mustangs in 2012, starting six before suffering a season-ending injury. He had 18 tackles, including one for loss, and added an interception return for a touchdown, returning the ball 96 yards against SFA. He was part of an SMU senior class that played in a school-record four consecutive bowl games. He is pursuing his graduate degree in liberal studies.
