Gary Robinson

Gary Robinson is the former Deputy General Counsel of Tenet Healthcare Corporation, a Fortune 200 company and owner of over fifty acute care hospitals. As Deputy General Counsel, Gary oversaw the management of Tenets litigation, including all of its medical malpractice, employment and business litigation. Prior to joining Tenet, Gary was a partner and chair of the labor and employment department at Mullen & Henzell, LLP in Santa Barbara, California. He has over 25 years experience in labor and employment law and civil litigation.
In conjunction with his instrucor role within the Dispute Resolution program, Gary is also a senior conflict management consultant with Strategic Resolutions Group, LLC. He consults with numerous hospitals and healthcare organizations on labor relations, risk management, medical staff relations and conflict management. He has participated in over 100 mediations either as the attorney of record, the party, or the mediator.
Gary earned his bachelors degree in political science and masters degree in educational administration from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his juris doctorate degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. His civic experience includes serving on the Board of Trustees of the Montecito Union School District in Santa Barbara, California.
