Harold D. Duncan

Dr. Harold D. Duncan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist. He has been in private practice (primarily in
the Dallas area) since 1981. In his practice, Dr. Duncan works with
individuals, couples, families and adolescents.
For 15 years, he was an Instructor in Psychology at the University of Texas at
Dallas, where he taught courses in Human Relations, Social Communication and
Psychology in the Workplace.
For 10 years, he served as part-time Behavioral Medicine Coordinator for the
Baylor Family Practice Residency Program at Garland. In that capacity, he
presented lectures and worked one-on-one with medical residents in identifying
anxiety, depression and other emotional disorders in their patients. He also
provided training in communication and other interpersonal skills.
Additionally, he facilitated support groups of residents to help them better
understand and deal with their own work and family stresses.
