Christine Castillo

Dr. Christine Castillo is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in
School Psychology, is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology (American
Board of Professional Psychology), and holds the National Certification in
School Psychology. Since 2005, she has been employed as a pediatric
neuropsychologist at Childrens Medical Center Dallas and is an Assistant
Professor in Psychiatry at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center,
where she has been heavily involved in pediatric neuropsychological evaluation,
individual, family, and parent intervention for children with complex medical
needs, and medical floor consultation for children with acute and chronic
medical diagnoses.
Dr. Castillo is currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the SMU
Dispute Resolution and Counseling Department. She received her Doctorate in
School Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuropsychology, at Texas A&M
University. Dr. Castillo serves on the SMU Advisory Board for the Dispute
Resolution and Counseling Department, is a member of the Dallas Disaster Mental
Health Coalition, and frequently volunteers with the City of Frisco Fire and
Police Departments to educate children and families regarding a multitude of
health and safety issues. She also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in
the College of Psychology and Counseling at Hope International University in
Fullerton, California. Dr. Castillo has published and presented in numerous
areas, including oncology, ADHD and executive functioning, and general pediatric
neuropsychology, and has edited a book entitled Children with Complex Medical
Issues in Schools: Neuropsychological Descriptions and Interventions.
