SMU’s Health Center provides a critical service for SMU students, many of whom rely on the center as their primary health care provider. With the increased number of students who will be living on campus because of the Residential Commons model, the health center will take on an even greater responsibility.
The University is in the initial planning stage of a major renovation to modernize the University on-campus medical facilities. Planned improvements to the Health Center include increased capacity, enhanced patient amenities and privacy, as well as upgraded technology and infrastructure.
Features
- Updated floor plan
- Increased facility capacity
- Additional procedure rooms and counseling offices
- Additional private waiting rooms
- Upgraded medical equipment and technology
- Enhanced pharmacy and laboratory areas
- Additional group meeting spaces
