The conference will provoke debate on the current state of trust in business and government and how it may affect th e coming 2012 elections. Specifically, the conference will focus on what business leaders and economic policy makers have done, and what more they can do, to ensure transparency in financial reporting and to recognize the interests of multiple stakeholders. Fundamentally, we want to consider what relevant institutions-business, government, and education-should or should not do to affect positive change, financial stability, and, ultimately, economic growth.
