What is your Big Business iDea?

Big iDeas Business Plan is a program by SMU and the Provosts Office, aimed at encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurial students at SMU to develop business ideas. The program intends to attract driven and innovative students of all disciplinary backgrounds and schools to participate. 

Big iDeas Business Plan is open to both students who have “start-up” ideas and those who have established businesses but require further funding.

In the first year of the programs existence it has 5 grant recipients who have received grants ranging from $2,000 to $12,000.
