Students already admitted to theological school and whose goal is to prepare for work in the field of liberal religion, either as a parish minister or as a liberal religious educator. Must intend to enter the Unitarian Universalist Ministry.

African American woman in or preparing for seminary dedicated to creating an anti-racist, multi-cultural religious organization and country. Must be in official candidate status for ministry with the Unitarian Universalist Association and a M.Div. candidate.

April 15Olympia Brown and Max Kapp Awards

An award of $2,500 is made to a ministerial student who, in addition to meeting the requirements for general financial aid, chooses to submit as part of their general financial application a paper, sermon, or other special project on some aspect of Universalism. Entries are evaluated by an outside reader.

April 15Robert and Martha Atherton Scholarship

Ministerial students who are patriotic and have an attitude of friendship and caring for humankind.  Must be in official Candidate Status for ministry with the Unitarian Universalist Association and in the second or third year of seminary.  M.Div candidate and have a proven ability and dedication to the UU faith and to helping humankind and recognizes that sound family orientation is the foundation of a healthy and strong society.  Preference given to Meadvill-Lombard students.

April 15Roy H. Pollack Scholarship

Junior or senior student with academic excellence and good character, studying for ordained ministry.  Active participant in extracurricular activities at his/her theological institution.  Must be an Aspirant or have Candidate Status for ministry with the Unitarian Universalist Associate.
