Community Lunch

Every Tuesday – Friday Perkins gathers as a community during the lunch hour to share in a meal and catch up on what is going on in each other lives. Community Lunch is also a time where students make announcements and reminders for all to hear. If you miss community lunch, you miss a great meal and the latest news!  Community Lunch is served in the Refrectory in Prothro Hall, at 12:15 pm. The "Perk"

Looking for fun and relaxation between classes?  The “Perk” (Selecman 106) combines the essence of a coffee shop and the comfort of home.   Coffee and snacks, refrigerator/icemaker/vending machines, couches and conversations—the “Perk” is the perfect location for downtime. 

CHAP (Community Hour at Perkins) Chats

On Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m., the Perkins community gathers to discuss interesting and relevant topics led by faculty members, guest speakers, and student organizations.  The last Tuesday of each month is reserved for a coffeehouse theme- special music and snacks are provided.  If interested in sponsoring a CHAP or providing music for the coffeehouse, please contact Melissa Collier, Community Life Graduate Assistant.
