MISSION

Cultivating wisdom in practices of holistic evangelism

In a rapidly changing world the church faces many new challenges to fulfilling its missional vocation. More than programs or techniques the church needs wisdom so that the good news of the Gospel may be lived and shared with integrity. 

The Center for Missional Wisdom at Perkins School of Theology cultivates wisdom in the theology and practice of evangelism. To this end we are developing a number of new programs, including the SMU Community Garden.

Through lecture series, workshops, and exciting hands-on learning opportunities, the Center is dedicated to helping God’s church bring the healing, liberating, and empowering good news of the Gospel to the world.  In partnerships with local churches, clergy, and a number of non-profits, the Center is here to help you and your church. For more information, please contact us at missionalwisdom@smu.edu, 214.768.2167.
