"Inside Perkins" - Feb. 14 (Dallas) and Mar. 11 (Houston)

Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University will host Inside Perkins, a two-day event for prospective degree and non-degree students, February 14-15, 2013. A similar one-day Inside Perkins will be held in Houston-Galveston March 11, 2013.

Inside Perkins offers the opportunity to tour the campus and to learn about scholarship and financial aid packages available to incoming students.  Participants will explore the graduate theological degrees offered—Master of Divinity, Master of Church Ministries, Master of Sacred Music, and Master of Theological Studies—as well as non-degree options.There will also be an opportunity to meet faculty and students, attend a class, and learn more about Perkins’ exemplary intern program.

Inside Perkins is the best way to get to know us,” says Tracy Anne Allred, director of Student Services at Perkins School of Theology. “This event gives prospective students the opportunity to experience and engage with our entire community and discover the many resources available here for theological education and preparation for ministry.”

Perkins School of Theology also offers classes for personal enrichment and continuing education, in addition to graduate-level degrees for persons pursuing a vocation in ministry-related fields.

Perkins provides hotel accommodations and meals with a $25 per person registration fee for applicants and their guests. Additionally, current applicants for admission traveling from more than 500 miles away are eligible for partial reimbursement of transportation costs.
