Off-Campus Offerings

The Office of Spiritual Formation also offers the spiritual direction program at off-campus locations. These locations must be at a sufficient distance from Dallas that attendance on campus proves impractical.

In order to qualify for off-campus offerings, the Office of Spiritual Formation requires a commitment from a church or comparable institution to host all six courses over a period of two years at intervals that closely reflect those used in the on-campus program.

Charges for the off-campus programs are based upon the established per credit hour charges and travel expenses for faculty. It is expected that the host institution will provide space and hospitality for the students. The Office of Spiritual Formation recommends that the host institution subsidize such programs, while encouraging the students enrolled to pay at least a portion of their expenses.
