About SMU PPP
SMU PPP is a dial up networking connection that uses a telephone line and computer modem. The connection speed is quite slow as this technology is very old. Access is available for any faculty, staff or student. If you are connecting outside of the 972 or 214 area code, long distance charges will apply.
Establishing the connection
To use SMU PPP you will need to configure your computer modem to connect to the SMU network. Please see the appropriate documentation listed below.
