Using the Projector in Dallas Hall 306 (McCord Auditorium)
To get started, tap the touch panel. This should bring you to the main screen:
Use the Power button to turn the projector off or on. (There will be a short period of time after choosing as you wait for the projector to warm up or cool down.)
The Volume button controls the sound and has a separate control for the microphone volume. (Contact the Dean's office on the second floor of Dallas Hall for use of the lapel mic.)
Use the Blank Screen button to black out the screen.
Use the Sources button to select the input you're using.
If you're using a laptop, after choosing the Laptop source you will be asked to choose between HDMI and VGA, depending on the connection your laptop uses.
After selecting the type of laptop connection you're using, plug in the appropriate cable to your device. You may need to ensure you have your laptop settings arranged properly, click here for further instructions on setting up a laptop.
