Turning on the Projector
1 - Tap Press here to start to begin
2 - Press the System Power button on the top-right hand corner of the panel.
3 - Then, tap Power Up.
4 - The screen will say, Would you like to use the LCD Projector?; tap YES
5 - The projector will turn on and the screen will lower. It will take a full minute for the image to show up on the screen.
Turning the System Off
1 - Tap the System Power button at the top of the screen.
2 - Tap Power Off
3 - The projector will turn off and the screen will rise. It will take 90 seconds for the shutdown procedure to finish.
Selecting/Changing the Source
1 - Tap the Source button on the left side of the screen.
2 - If you want to display the computer screen, tap on the Installed PC button.
3 - If you want to play a VHS movie, tap the VHS Player button.
Using the VCR
1 - Insert your VHS tape into the VCR
2 - On the touch panel, tap the Source button
3 - Tap the button that says VCR
4 - This screen will appear asking you to insert the VHS tape into the VCR; when this is done, tap Finished to start watching the video.
5 - Use the controls on this screen to control the VCR.
Playing a DVD
(The simplest way to play a DVD is to use the DVD player that is in the computer.)
1 - Open the DVD player on the computer and insert the DVD, then close the DVD drawer.
2 - A screen may appear asking you what you would like to do with the disk, choose the option that says Play DVD using InterVideo WinDVD
3 - If this screen does not appear, click the icon 
on the desktop that says DVD Player and the DVD playing software will start.
Using the Document Camera
1 - Tap the Source button on the left side of the screen
2 - Tap the Document Camera button
3 - You will need to be sure the document camera is turned on before an image will show up on the screen.
Adjusting the Volume
1 - Tap the Volume Control button on the left side of the screen to access the volume control screen.
2 - To adjust the volume from the computer or DVD player, use the controls on the right side of the screen under the word Program. Use up or down to increase or decrease the volume and the Mute button to silence the system.
3 - To adjust the microphone volume use the controls on the left side of this screen under the word Microphone.
4 - Tap the EXIT button to leave this screen.
Connecting the Laptop
1 - Plug the video cable and sound cable from the podium into the appropriate slots on your laptop. (Important: If you are using a Mac, you may need an adaptor to plug into this cable. Contact Classroom Support if you have questions about this.)
2 - Tap the Source button on the left side of the screen.
3 - Tap the AUX button to choose the laptop as the audio/video source. The system will display what is on your laptop through the projector and will play sounds from your laptop through the room speakers.
4 - Tap the Laptop button.
If nothing shows up on screen after choosing the source be sure that your laptop is set to use a second monitor. This is normally done on a pc by pressing the function key and the F4 key at the same time. Contact classroom support if you need further help with this.
