The Office of Digital Interests is directed by George Finney and is responsible for review of all IT related contracts for SMU. In addition, the office is responsible for responding to issues relating to Digital Rights Management, Copyright, Regulation of Information Technology in Higher Education, and advocacy for Open Source Software.
