Associate Professor of Law and Medical Ethicist
SMU Law Professor Tom Mayo, Ph.D., is director of SMU's Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility and an associate professor in Dedman School of Law. He is a nationally recognized authority on medical ethics.
In addition to his position at SMU, he is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He teaches courses in the areas of health care law, bioethics, medical-legal humanities, constitutional law, family law, administrative law, and legislation.
