Business Professor and Bobby B. Lyle Chair in Entrepreneurship

Maria Minniti, Ph.D., is a specialist in entrepreneurship and economic development. Her current research focuses on women’s and minority entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial behavior, and the role and impact of entrepreneurs in economic growth and revitalization. She is also an expert in global entrepreneurship and “intrapreneurship” – small-scale innovation as nurtured within large-scale organizations.

She is a professor and the Bobby B. Lyle Chair in Entrepreneurship in SMU's Cox School of Business.
