Ben Voth, Ph.D., chair of SMU's Corporate Communications and Public Affairs division, is an expert in debate and persuasion who has conducted research on the rhetoric of politics, humor and genocide. Voth also serves as director of debate and speech programs at SMU and has coached Holocaust survivors, national speech champions, community advocates and government leaders on how to make their voices heard.
