At SMU Meadows School of the Arts, we believe that the special gifts of an artist come with special responsibilities. Artists are entrepreneurs by nature; we like to explore new ideas and rethink problems. We innovate and create. We also believe in reaching out to others through shared ideas, art and dialogue. In fact, for the vast majority of successful artists and communicators, serious artistic work and community are intertwined.
