Scenes from Bite-Sized Opera: The Opera Free For All

The Opera Theatre Ensemble had one minute to make an impression

If you were strolling by the Bob Hope Lobby on Friday, September 20, you probably heard soaring voices. The concept was exciting: the members of the Meadows Opera Theatre Ensemble would showcase their tank-powerful voices in 60-second arias. They had one minute to make an impression. Each singer strolled confidently to the stage, introduced their piece, let loose some awe-inspiringly great notes, and sat back down. Photographer Rueben Gonzalez and videographer Liz Meyer were on hand to capture the show. These are singers to follow.
