SMU Meadows Ranked One of the Top Digital Universities in the U.S.
Meadows' BA in Advertising with Media Emphasis recognized as one of the stellar programs in the country.
In the age of the Internet and viral marketing, one of the most important things the modern entrepreneur can do is launch a website. In coordination with social media, it's a fast, cheap way to DIY market oneself. This is one of the tenets of Meadows Start a Movement mission: we want students to innovate. It's a world where digital advertising and marketing are growing.
So, some good news from the Interactive Advertising Bureau: a recent study of undergrad advertising, marketing and digital media solutions has recognized Meadows' Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising with a Media Emphasis as one of the best in the country.
The study focused on five factors: SMU's recognition nationally and internationally, its undergraduate degree requirements, elective courses outside the school, and the ability to take digital media design courses. SMU was recognized among NYU, University of California at Berkeley, Syracuse and University of Texas at Austin. All in all, a prestigious list to included in. Take a look at the full report on IAB.
