Percussion Alumni Receive Notable Appointments

Symphony position and two professorships awarded to three Meadows graduates

Two percussion alumni of the Meadows Division of Music have just been appointed to full-time professorships in the Boyer College of Music at Temple University in Philadelphia. Philip O'Banion (B.M. 2002) has been appointed Assistant Professor of Percussion, and Nate Buonviri (M.M. 1999) has been appointed Assistant Professor of Music Education. They also are actively performing together in a percussion duo.

Robert Klieger (B.M. 2007) has been appointed a section percussionist in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
